Create a node server that create a child process to run another script

In this article, we will learn how we can create a child process in nodejs. we will create a node server and this server will fork a child process to execute a script file getCount.js.
In this, we will create a server.js and write the code to create a node server. In this server, we'll fork a child process to execute a script getCount.js.

server.js

                                const server = http.createServer(requestListener);
                                server.listen(port, host, () => {

                                const child = fork(__dirname + '/getCount');
                                child.send('START');

The above codes will create a server, and at the time of server start, this will fork a child process to run the script getCount.js
Let's write the getCount.js script:
getCount.js

                                process.on('message', (message) => {
                                    if (message == 'START') {
                                      console.log('Child process received START message');
                                      for(let i=0;i<100;i++){
                                        console.log(i);
                                      }

In the above script, there is a for loop that simply print the number from 1 to 100, and the above script will be executed by the child process created by the node server.

Run the node server using below command:
